Know before you go

PLEASE NOTE:
You will be required to fill out an Electronic Ticket when entering and leaving the Dominican Republic. It is a digital form required by multiple institutions for entering and leaving national territory. It is mandatory for each passenger to truthfully complete the information on the electronic ticket for the General Immigration Office, the General Customs Office and the Ministry of Public Health, according to Dominican laws 285-04, 115-17, 72-02 and 226-06. International Cell Service
Please check with your carrier regarding cellular charges when traveling internationally. You are responsible for these charges.

Event Dress Code: Meeting attire is Resort Dressy/Business Casual (slacks, khaki’s or jeans acceptable). Please bring comfortable shoes as this is a large property.

Airport Transportation Information:
Tropical Incentives DMC will be handling airport transfers for our group on November 11th 12th and 15th. The resort is approximately 25 minutes from Punta Cana International Airport.

Upon arrival you will pass through immigration and then you will be guided to the baggage claim area. Once you have your luggage you will be directed to customs. After you have cleared customs, proceed to walk outside the terminal through the exit labeled with “Shuttles and Taxis.”

**For your own convenience, do not stop anywhere between customs and the airport exit doors, unless you see a representative from Tropical Incentives DMC staff (They always wear uniforms or carry a board with group logo)**

Look for the sign that says Johnson Controls Fire Group with Simplex and Autocall logos.

- Terminal A: Tropical Incentives DMC staff will be at arrivals exit.

- Terminal B: Tropical Incentives DMC staff will be at Booth #11

Important - If you have extended your dates beyond the program and will be arriving before the 11th or leaving after the 15th we ask that you please arrange your transportation to and from the airport. If you would like to book through Tropical Incentives, you can arrange by contacting:

Upon Arrival:
Upon arrival you will be asked to provide a picture ID/Passport and credit card upon check in. Your single occupancy accommodations will be covered for the nights of the 12th, 13th and 14th This resort is all-inclusive and all meeting space and group meals will be covered from Tuesday evening through Thursday night. You will be responsible for your airfare, incidentals, any additional guests and costs beyond the program dates.

Wednesday evening dinner

On Wednesday evening activities will be returning between 5:30pm and 6:30pm. We encourage you to partner with your ASM and join them for dinner at the resort. We will have a hotel representative available during registration if you would like to book a reservation. We will be gathering at Elyxr and Muse at the main lobby in Melia Punta Cana following dinner.

Activity information

Cocotal Golf by Melia

Designed by six-time Spanish Champion, Pepe Gancedo, who has designed more than 18 golf courses throughout Spain, some rated among the top 100.

Monkey Land

Start the tour with a visit to a typical house, interact with the Dominicans, learn to live from the land and its organic products. There you will have the opportunity to taste roasted coffee and cocoa. Start the second part of the tour by arriving at our beautiful botanical garden, where you will learn about the plants and flowers native to the island. The next 45 minutes were spent on a guided tour that allows you to interact very close to our beautiful and friendly squirrel monkeys. Monkeys are completely accustomed to human contact. They come down from the trees to sit on your shoulder and eat from your hands
