July 2025 – App Updates
Below are some of the important changes along with images that have been released in the latest version of our apps.
Web Application Updates
North America and Europe: Display User Roles Per Workspace
Enhanced the User Management tab to display which workspace a specific user is assigned to, which roles they have in each workspace, the account type, the invitation date and their status.
North America and Europe: Enhanced User Search
Added the ability to sort users and to search users by their name, their role and their workspace.
North America and Europe: System Updates and Security Improvements
Enhanced performance and stability to reduce loading times across SafeLINC Web.
North America Only: SIM Card Management Improvements
Automated the SIM Card Registration process to reduce wait times.
Added the ability to edit SIM Card details in the SIM Card Management tab.

Added the ability to send a deactivation request to deactivate a SIM card.

Mobile Updates
SafeLINC App – iOS and Android
North America and Europe: Improvements to the Panel Status Screen
Updated the UI so that more relevant information is shown upfront such as adding the device type and point type to the panel cards.

North America and Europe: Enhanced Panel Information
Added the description, alias, serial number, panel guid, master revision, gateway to panel connection, alarm silence, and AC power for more consistency across SafeLINC Web and Mobile.

North America and Europe: Gateway Details Enhancement
A new ‘Gateway Details’ menu item within the ‘Gateway Connection Status’ screen has been added, which displays the Connected Services Gateway UUID, the Connected Services Gateway Alias Name and its Associated Panel.

North America and Europe: Gateway Details Improved Navigation
Workspace is now a selectable link in the Gateway Details screen, which will automatically navigate the user to the specific workspace.

North America and Europe: System Updates and Improvements
Resolved an issue on mobile where the number in parentheses did not accurately reflect total number of panels in the workspace hierarchy

North America and Europe: Enhanced User Sorting
Added the ability to sort and filter the list of users by email address.

May 2025 - Updates
Below are some of the important changes along with images that have been released in the latest version of our apps.
Web Application Updates
North America Only: True Alarm Panel Reports.
New reports have been added to the Panel Reports page:
- True Alarm Report
- True Alarm CO Report
Users can view, download, and schedule these reports.
- Requires panels to be updated to 7.01.01 & gateway firmware updated to this version
North America and European Union: Other improvements to SafeLINC Web.
A new more distinguishable filter icon has been added to the table columns across SafeLINC Web and other usability improvements.
NA and EU: Customer Admin Role
A new role has been introduced to manage users within a workspace. This includes adding and deleting users, editing user roles, and inviting other customer admins and/or observers.
NA and EU: Other improvements to SafeLINC Web

Mobile Updates
SafeLINC App – iOS and Android v3.2
Added options to filter and sort Panels
Added options to sort panels by status (ascending & descending), added options to filter panels by status, panel type and event type.
Added options to filter and sort Gateways
Added options to sort gateways by status (ascending & descending), firmware version (ascending & descending). Added options to filter gateways online or offline.
Added Gateway tooltips
When registering a Gateway, tooltips have been added to guide the on user where to look for the gateway UUID and Gateway PIN.
Minor System Updates & Security Improvements:

Moved the *required fields from the footer to the end of the form
content.
- This was already released for Android in a previous version.
- Enhanced performance and stability.
- Tapping "Go to Panel" on a Gateway list item now switches tabs and scrolls to the associated panel.

Auto select Root Workspace:
- If a user has only one root workspace, it will be auto selected, and the user will be brought straight to the panel screen upon login.
- Updated Copyright information to 2025.
Customer Admin Role
Added support for the new Customer Admin role.
Connected Services Gateway Update
NA Firmware available: May 8th, 2025
North America Only: True Alarm Panel Reports.
Added support for True Alarm Panel Reports. Panels must be updated to 7.01.01 and Gateways must be updated to this version to access these reports on SafeLINC Web.
European Union Firmware available: May 27th, 2025
European Union Only: Adjusted the logic for creating Panel UUIDs to stabilize connection and disconnection issues:
The Panel UUID is now automatically generated. The serial number input box has been removed on the CSG Local Web UI as it is no longer required.
System Updates & Security Improvements:
Improved our backend system which includes the following:
- Improved stability for connections and disconnection issues.
- Enhanced performance and stability.
- Improved security features.

Bug fixes and optimizations.
- Resolved an issue where the CSG required an initial Ethernet connection before it could connect via cellular. After disconnecting the Ethernet cable, the gateway successfully maintained its cellular connection. Please note that it may take ~10 minutes for the system to come back online fully. Do not restart the gateway or panel during this time.

October 2024 - App Updates
Web Application Updates
Workspace icons added in sidebar.
Folder icons for workspaces to easily differentiate between workspaces and accounts.
Tooltip added to sidebar and made consistency changes.
When the user hovers over an item in the sidebar, a tooltip will appear explaining what the item is i.e. if it is an account, a workspace or a panel.
Gateway Management Tab – CSV Export.
Added a button to export the gateway information available on the gateway management tab to CSV.
Removed 'Select All' in Notification Settings.
The ability to select notifications for all panels has been removed because it caused system issues.
Utility Points are not displayed in Panel Log by default.
Users can still choose to display them in the filter option, but they are not displayed by default so that relevant point information can be shown at the forefront.
Bug fixes
- Fixed an issue with Editing Users in multiple workspaces.
- Fixed an issue display user roles in the Invite Screen.
- Fixed an issue with the Notification Settings Toggle, where the user needed to enable the toggle twice.
Gateway Updates — North America Only
Local Web UI Improvements:
Display cellular information such as: the cellular modem model number, the cellular module firmware revision, and the cellular connection signal strength
Updated the text from GUID to UUID for more consistency across SafeLINC Web and the CSG.
Bug fixes:
- Panel disconnections due to panels being programmed with duplicate job IDs.
- Security patches.

July 2024 Web - Key v2.0 Updates
Added a gateway signal strength icon in the ‘Panel Info’ tab.
The signal strength icon displays how strong the cellular connection is to SafeLINC Cloud, with 5 bars meaning there is a strong connection and 1 bar meaning there is a weak connection. If the CSG is connected via ethernet, the field will be populated with ‘N/A’.Changed Workspace display to be sorted in alphabetic order
The Workspace hierarchy tree (all levels), Workspaces in the Workspace Management Tab, Accounts in the Account Management Tab and Search results have now been sorted in alphabetical and numerical order, to make it easier for you to find what you want.Download monthly ‘Account Reports’ providing a breakdown of users, gateways and customers added and removed in the last month
In the ‘Workspace Reports’ tab, you can now download an Account Report, called ‘Users and Devices’. This is automatically downloaded as a PDF file.SIM card registration – added input validation for ICCID and IMEI fields
There are now stricter requirements for the ICCID and IMEI fields on the SIM Card Registration page to minimize wrong manual input. You must enter 20 digits in the ICCID field, 15 digits in the IMEI field and you are not allowed to enter letters, special characters or spaces in either field.Default number of items displayed per page is now set to 100 rows
The default number of items displayed per page has been increased from 25 items per page to 100 items per page.
