Alan joined Johnson Controls in February 2004. He is currently the Senior Business Development Manager (Asia) for the Fire Detection business. Alan has been in the fire protection industry for more than 30 years. Over this period, he held various management and operation positions with international companies like Simplex, Honeywell, Gent and Siemens. His experience covers project management, technical support, sales and business development.

Alan had active participation in the Fire Detection Systems design for the Taipei Financial Centre (Taipei 101), various casinos in Macau including Galaxy phase 1 & 2 and Macau City Studio and the Hong Kong International Airport upgrade.

Alan has also been involved in many technical symposiums in the Asia region. He has presented papers in such events in Southeast Asia, Singapore, India, Pakistan, China, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan and the Philippines.
